The 2016 JMF Summer Band Camp Dates Announced

The Joseph Manzi Foundation Summer Band Camp is in it’s third year now!IMG_3065 IMG_0039

With your support you have helped kids in grades 5-12 get together to learn and play music together in a fun environment. Our 2 week camp allows students to work with high school counselors to grow on their instruments, have fun during our recreational time, and play in ensembles all leading up to a concert at the end of camp. All of this costs $50 per child!

Thank you for continuing to support the Joseph Manzi Foundation so we can bring programs like this to the town of Berlin.

This year’s dates are June 27th-July 8th from 9-12:30.

JMF foundation receives the “Berlin Bravos” Award

Rob the DrummerThe JMF Foundation received the “Berlin Bravos” Award at a meeting of the Berlin Board of Education on Monday, February 22, 2016.

It cited: the Joseph Manzi Foundation has been awarded the “Berlin Bravos” certificate of recognition for its generosity to Catherine M. McGee Middle School.  The Foundation was instrumental in bringing “Rob the Drummer” to McGee School to perform an assembly designed to inspire, energize and motivate.  Critical youth issues, including anti-bullying behavior, anti-substance abuse, and the choice to lead a healthy, active lifestyle were addressed.
